You may have heard of this word before; in many chronic diseases, the main cause is considered to be an unhealthy lifestyle. The World Health Organization considers a healthy life in different physical, mental, social dimensions and not just the absence of disease. In other words, the activities that a person performs in different aspects of his life determine his health. We will now address this issue briefly.

A healthy lifestyle is a determining factor in health and includes the following:

  • Adequate sleep and rest
  • Sports and physical activity
  • Avoiding any addiction
  • Involving in healthy sex
  • Stress control
  • Spiritual dimensions

It is worth mentioning that a healthy lifestyle differs from person to person depending on the conditions, environment, place of residence and the personality of each individual.
