About Seyyed al-Shohada Charitable Hospital

Seyyed al-Shohada Medical Center is one of the most prestigious hospitals in Tehran, accredited among the city's top facilities by the Ministry of Health. With over 20 years of experience serving the community across all medical and dental fields, our goal is to provide the highest quality care through our team of leading experts.
The center was originally founded in the 1960s as a charity hospital and maternity ward, starting with just 835 square meters and expanding significantly over the following decades. Through the dedication of donors and health ministry leaders, the facility grew in two phases to its current size with nine floors and 120 beds, achieving certification as a general hospital in 2000.
In 1979, an on-site clinic was opened including pharmacy, injection and general practitioner services. From 1979 to 2001, radiology, dentistry and laboratory departments were added. In 1990, a new nine-floor hospital department with 96 beds and 4 operating rooms started operating. In 2009, a second department added intensive care units with 24 beds. ICU2 was equipped and opened in 2010.
